Our Pastor

Pastor Graham was born in Glade Springs, VA in 1948. He was raised in his early years in Eagle Rock, VA and in 1959 he and his family moved to Fredericksburg, VA. In 1965 he and his family moved again to Orange, VA where his father, Harry (Bud) and his mother Shirley still reside after retiring from public education. (Pastor Graham's father went home to be with the Lord in May 2010.) He and his wife have three grown daughters and eight living grandchildren who all reside in the Orange area.
Pastor Graham is married to the former Terry Woodcock of Unionville, VA and is retired from the Verizon Telephone Company and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
In 1994, before retirement, God began to deal with Pastor Graham during a Bible study at Salem United Methodist Church, where he and his wife were attending, about answering the call to full time ministry. He began a mentor program with his pastor, Reverend Alex Joyner and entered into the church’s lay speaking program. Thus began his public ministry. He was licensed to preach in 1996 and was assigned a church, Mountain View United Methodist Church in Greene County, VA.
In 1998, he started the James Graham Evangelistic Ministries. This ministry allowed him to travel and preach and teach God’s Word in many venues. During this time, he worked with several local churches doing supply ministry, Bible teaching, and church organization. As this ministry grew it allowed him to work with people from many different walks of life, which broadened his ministry to what it is today.
In 2005, God began to deal with Pastor Graham about coming off the evangelistic field and accepting again the responsibility as a full time pastor. As he and his wife prayed for God’s direction on where He was leading them, God opened the door for him to become the Interim Pastor at Wallers Baptist Church beginning May 1, 2006. Pastor Graham was installed as full time pastor on October 1, 2006.
